O: (802) 338-3648
E: kenneth.a.musgrave.ctr@army.mil
My name is Ken Musgrave and I’m in my 4th year as an Outreach Specialist in Chittenden County. I have 22 years’ service, two years of Active Duty Army and 20 Years with the Vermont National Guard. After two years working, then managing the Call Center, I was offered my current position with the Outreach Team in 2020.
The Call Center was the point of contact with Veterans and Family Programs. Information was gathered and forward to the Outreach Team. That experience gave me the desire to work with veterans to help resolve any issues that they faced from the initial contact to completion. I have worked with Veteran’s who have served in World War II, Viet Nam, and Middle East, as well of their spouses. We can’t solve all problems, but our team does the best it can to reach a satisfactory result to all requests for assistance we receive.
My reward is the satisfaction I get from helping Veterans get the benefits they earned serving our country.

My name is Michael Harton, a proud Vermont native now calling Franklin County home. Family is my foundation, shaping who I am and what I value most. After serving four years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force and two years in the Vermont Air National Guard, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for the bonds forged in service. Now, with Vermont Veterans Outreach, I’m channeling that passion into something bigger—connecting with local veterans, sharing our stories, and making sure every veteran knows they’re part of a community that has their back. My mission is to remind veterans that we’re in this together, with a shared history and a commitment to support one another.
