My role as a Vermont National Guard employee is to serve you. I’ve had the privilege of working all over the United States and the world. From deploying, going on TDYs, to working for Non-profits, and counseling groups; my uniform may have changed over the years but helping and serving others has always stayed the same. Helping service members and their families navigate through the never-ending changes in life by using community and military programs. I’m here for you.
I served 12 years on Active Duty and in 2004 I transitioned to the VTARNG. In 2007 I was hired into the VTARNG Active Guard and Reserve program. I retired from the 86th BSTB formally 2/172 AR, presently 572 BEB in Rutland on December 31, 2013. From there I moved to several different states prior to accepting the position of Military and Family Readiness Specialist and coming back to VT in 2020. My passion is still helping service members and families find the resources they need to achieve their goals, either within the National Guard or in the civilian realm.
I have served the Vermont Army National Guard since 2020 in a Title 5 civilian role as a Military and Family Readiness Specialist for the Office of Family Programs. In addition to my civilian role, I am a member of the United States Army Reserve where I serve as a Logistician and Information Operations Officer in Directorate for Engineering and Logistics at Headquarters United States Central Command. I was commissioned as a 2LT in the Vermont Army National Guard in 2004 and was deployed to Kuwait (twice), Qatar, Jordan, and Kosovo in my career. I currently hold the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

I provide support to service members and their families by informing and referring military families to all available federal and community resources, as well as building positive relationships with service members and their families.
A little about my career so far: I am a veteran with one deployment to Afghanistan and am currently serving with over 18 years in the Vermont Army National Guard. I started my federal career working in the warehouse at the USPFO. After my deployment in 2010, I accepted a position at the Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS), and from there I was hired as the coordinator for Military Funeral Honors.
A little about myself: I am married with four amazing children. I am extremely family-oriented and understand the struggles between serving and maintaining a healthy home life.
